Implementation of Non-Isolated Zeta-KY Triple Port Converter for Renewable Energy Applications

This paper proposes a three-port Zeta-KY dc-dc converter which is fed with hybrid sources like photovoltaic (PV) cells and batteries. The proposed here multi-input single-output (MISO) structure harnesses the benefits of Zeta KY converters. combination these converters highly advantageous since provides lesser output voltage ripples high gain topology suits well for withstanding load transients. used in this research work subjected to topological change facilitate bidirectional power flow. flow essential save excess PV source batteries during low conditions. novel multiport facility first its kind has not been discussed earlier arena. In work, two control algorithms are developed deployed: one ensures maximum extraction from second maintains constant dc bus manages MATLAB Simulink hardware prototype system realized 72 V 500 W electric vehicular drive. simulation experimental results reveal that viable medium shuttle applications. various test cases it observed intermittencies catered very by three port converter. feasible renewable energy
